Movement Philosophy

“Through movement we find health.”  A major tenet of the Nia philosophy.  Not just any movement, but movement based on comfort, pleasure, joy, and self-expression!  All of our classes at Life-force emphasize safety, comfort, and learning to move the way the body is designed to move.  You learn body awareness.  This body awareness translates into more care and fascination with your body and its potential.  You learn body acceptance.  Nia classes take us even further.  We encourage you to dance and move your body to express yourself, your unique spirit in community.  You transform body, mind, emotion, and spirit and become your best self.
